That’s a wrap on The Hunchback of Notre Dame! 🔔

This show is a true sonic beast. Bringing a 54 inputs to life - including 25 wireless cast mics, a full band on IEMs, and a choir! What a rewarding challenge to navigate from the desk!

There is nothing quite like hitting those huge choral swells while keeping the dialogue crisp and intimate. It was a major technical feat to balance the bells of Notre Dame, but hearing it all come together made every minute of soundcheck, pre-production and rehearsals worth it.

Huge thanks to the cast, crew, and musicians for a stellar week. Now, on to the next one! 🎧🎚️🎭

The Producers - A Final Thanks from the Booth!

Well, theatre fans, the last laugh has echoed, the final curtain is down, and the house lights are up on GADOC s run of The Producers!

From my perspective high up in the sound booth, this show was an absolute blast and a hilarious challenge every single night.

Wireless Workout: 24 cast mics, quick-change choreography, and several pigeons! Keeping all those radio frequencies clean and the packs dry was a nightly victory!

The Orchestra Pit: 20 inputs and 13 IEMs! Major props to our musicians. It was a joy mixing the energy from the pit with the mayhem on stage.

Thank you again to the entire production team, the crew, and the audiences who brought the laughter that gave this sound system its ultimate test. It's been an honour to mix the loudest "flop" in history!
